I understand that many of you have or are undergoing financial stress as a result of COVID and the current mortgage and rental stress and cost of living increases. I can guarantee you my prices will give you the BEST VALUE FOR MONEY remedial massage in Townsville.

PLEASE NOTE:

A MINIMUM ONE-HOUR massage is required with your first massage. Also, allow an EXTRA 40-50 minutes for FREE initial consultation. Although you may have had numerous other treatments by other massage and/or other physical therapists, this extra time includes about 15 minutes of detailed explanation of various body interactions. IT IS PART OF THE WAY I DO BUSINESS and helps ensure I can provide you with the best possible treatment if you understand and accept the full range of factors that may be influencing your problem areas. I don’t just treat SYMPTOMS. This explanation alone could save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars in unnecessary repeat visits to other physical therapists (or medical practitioners).

My focus is on getting you the best possible result. Any therapist who just works on your problem (symptomatic) areas may be making the problem worse or prolonging it.

IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO SPEND THIS EXTRA FREE TIME WITH THE FIRST MASSAGE, OR ALL YOU WANT IS A QUICK HALF HOUR JUST FOCUSING ON ONE OR TWO PARTICULAR AREAS, SAY NECK AND SHOULDERS (ON YOUR FIRST VISIT), YOU NEED TO FIND ANOTHER THERAPIST.

One hour – $105
½ hour – $58
75 minutes – $115
90 minutes – $130

Ear Candling (30min) – $70.

MOBILE MASSAGE: An EXTRA FEE of $55 (in addition to the normal massage fee) applies where MOBILE MASSAGE (I come to you) is required. Mobile massage availability is EXCEPTIONALLY LIMITED and not available on short notice. Mobile massage is NOT AVAILABLE to hotels, motels, high-rise apartments or anywhere in the CBD and is CASH ONLY as credit card and HICAPS facilities are NOT AVAILABLE with mobile massages. Written receipts can be provided for Health Fund claims – except for Medibank Private which now requires an electronic receipt.

Check out my POINTS OF DIFFERENCE for best value for money massage.

FEMALE CLIENTS, PLEASE NOTE: Unless it’s unavoidable (like coming straight from work or another appointment), please don’t wear make-up to your massage as some make-up types don’t wash properly out of towels and can ruin them.

About Prices

My prices reflect my qualifications, experience (33 years in 2024), competence and level of service compared to other LOCAL massage therapists. These prices are significantly below what you could expect to pay in a metropolitan city or for a basic relaxation massage in a day spa. Would you expect to pay the same for a just-graduated junior doctor/GP as you would for a highly experienced medical specialist? My prices significantly under-reflect my experience, skills and competence in treating common muscle and joint aches and pains, headaches and migraines. This is compared to the prices charged by physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths (and other “allied health professionals”) – even those recently graduated, based on an hour of their time and the results achieved in just one session (even if you can find one of those therapists to give you a full one-hour, one-on-one session).

Health Funds

I offer HICAPS facilities and am a recognised “provider” with Australian health funds. If a health fund for which I am a “provider” does not provide REMEDIAL MASSAGE rebates via HICAPS, I issue a receipt with provider number, item number and other necessary details that can be used to claim. If you don’t have your health fund card with you, I can provide a written receipt for you to claim.

Credit Cards

Credit card/EFTPOS facilities with Paywave are available for Visa and Mastercard.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available, including via email to out-of-town clients with over-the-phone credit card payment.

GUARANTEED BEST VALUE FOR MONEY REMEDIAL MASSAGE IN TOWNSVILLE.

Please Note:

First time REMEDIAL massage clients of mine receive an EXTRA 40-45 MINUTES ABSOLUTELY FREE. This extra time is used to obtain relevant information from you, and explain the remedial treatment and how various muscular and structural interactions may contribute to your problem areas. I also conduct some simple postural assessments and other checks to ensure the best possible and most effective treatment for you.

Unlike most physical therapy clinics, I will NEVER ask you to book in for multiple visits.

The time you book and pay for is the time you receive ON THE TABLE – not from when you walk into the massage room to when you walk out the front door.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) clients should allow a 75-minute booking for a comprehensive full-body lymphatic massage. This massage is very gentle, slow and extremely relaxing. Clients should note lymphatic massage is not a massage for tired or sore muscles. It is designed to enhance movement of the body’s lymphatic fluid to help boost the immune system and reduce excess fluid. Due to my specialising in remedial massage, lymphatic drainage availability is very limited and I cannot commit to anyone requiring regular lymph drainage.
